Tinubu Commands Swift End to Doctors’ Strike

President Tinubu has ordered an immediate end to the resident doctors’ strike and directed steps to restore health services. The government says most of NARD’s demands are being addressed through funding and welfare measures. NARD disputes this, insisting the strike will continue until real progress is made.

When doctors stop work, it affects everyone who needs medical care—from emergency visits to routine checkups. This move means you can expect hospitals to resume normal services soon, making it easier to access timely healthcare without delays. For families relying on these services, especially in critical times, the president’s order signals hope for quicker treatment and less worry about unattended medical needs. In a place where health infrastructure is already stretched, ending the strike quickly helps protect your community's wellbeing and peace of mind.
